Jos arises from the contemplation of the everyday life and matures over time. I’ve always found fascinating the construction of a particular type of café chair, usually made of a simple tubular structure in metal or wood that grows from the bottom and branches upwards, defining the volume and shape of the whole product. It is a recurring, beautiful and popular aesthetic and it is the perfect meeting point between decoration, ergonomics and sturdiness. With the project Jos I let myself be inspired by this classic chair architecture and I reinterpreted through a recalibration of proportions and a careful choice of colors, projecting it into the new BabelD world.
